Letters From A Spring Time Morn' is a ode to Spring, or her ode to us. My inspiration for this piece came from my love of Spring. The slow start to the mornings, the stormy afternoons, and the abundance of wildlife. Spring is like a fresh start. The inspiration for the title of this piece was also the inspiration for the overall feeling I wanted to express.
The title was inspired by a vintage book called The Birds And Insects Post Office by Robert Bloomfield. This book is a collection of letters between birds and insects, and chronicles what they would have to say to each other. I kept these letters in the back of my mind and I asked myself what Spring would have to say if given the chance.
